The cool fall air and the pending holidays remind us to be thankful.

Sun Screen Print and its staff would like to sincerely thank all of our Contract Printing Partners for helping us come back strong from 2020. However, 2021 supply chain issues, skyrocketing materials costs, and the shortage of reliable qualified labor (at any cost) have presented us all with many challenges this year. We hope that 2022 will show us all-new ways of doing business in this new economy.

We have certainly learned some valuable lessons and are making some BIG changes in the way we do business around here.

We will be updating each of you as we move forward with upgrading our systems, policies and procedures, workflow, and finding a more efficient and cost-effective way to do business. We are integrating an online ordering system that will save all of us time and money.

As Contract Partners, we hope you will work with us as we grow and explore new ways to better serve all of our Contract Partners.

Our first BIG change has to be a price increase. Not good news for anyone!

We have faced up to a 50% increase in just the cost of Ink over the past several months, not to mention the shortages and long shipping times. Even our internal supplies like packing tape and paper towels are hard to come by. We tried to be proactive with this as soon as we were aware of the shortages and pre-ordered as much as we could get our hands-on. Many shops were left without the ability to stockpile so we feel that is an advantage for you as a Sun Screen Print Contract Partner.

It’s not all bad news!

We are upgrading our internal systems so ordering, job tracking, and production schedule will run much smoother. We are building an automated online ordering system so you can quickly fill out our online Purchase Order to avoid many of the back-and-forth questions that happen in emails. We all could use one or dozens of fewer emails in our daily lives.

We have a few more tricks and treats up our preverbal sleeves, but for now, we wanted you to know how grateful we are for your continued business.
